Convention Wrap-up

We hope you all had a great time at Left Coast Crime 2023: Trouble in Tucson. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer location!

A huge thank-you to all the volunteers who pitched in before and during the convention to do all the things needed to keep things running smoothly.

And we can’t thank volunteer conference photographer Darrell Hoemann enough. The pictures below are thanks to Darrell, except for the few amateur iPhone pictures he should not be held responsible for. A 40-year veteran of newspapers, you can see some of Darrell’s work at www.dhoemann.com.

Guest of Honor Interviews
Also thanks to Darrell, for the first time we have videos of the Guest of Honor Interviews for your viewing pleasure. Feel free to share that link with friends who couldn’t attend the convention in person.

Toastmaster Ellen Byron conducting the Live Action. We are grateful to everyone who donated items for our Silent and Live Auctions and all our generous bidders on auction items and the quilt. We raised $7,960 for Make Way for Books an early literacy nonprofit that provides programs, services, and resources to young children, parents, and educators throughout southern Arizona each year: $2635 Quilt Raffle, $2725 Silent Auction, $2600 Live Auction.
