 Noemi Levine’s involvement with mystery conventions began with the 1997 Bouchercon in Monterey. Since then she has served as Registrar, Treasurer, and Auction Chair for numerous Left Coast Crime conventions, and was the Fan Guest of Honor for Left Coast Crime 2012 in Sacramento. Noemi is a lifelong mystery fan who grew up reading Nancy Drew and Scholastic juvenile mysters by authors like Mary C. Jane. The first adult mystery she ever encountered was Many Deadly Returns by Patricia Moyes, soon followed by What Mrs. McGillicuddy Saw by Agatha Christie. Noemi still prefers the classics but does enjoy reading some contemporary mystery authors for her weekly mystery book club.
