We have some FANTASTIC tours just for mystery writers and readers. A touch of wine, great ghost stories in the cemetery, and mysteries of Old Sacramento—customized for Left Coast Crime!! Reservations for the Old Sacramento Mystery Tour and the Cemetery Tour must be received by March 1, 2012. PhotoEvent #1: Winery Limo Tour

$79 per person

After a 10 AM pick up at convention headquarters (Sheraton Grand) the limo will travel east into the Sierra Foothills, ready to drive you to three wineries for a day of wine tasting and relaxation. A box lunch will be served. Price includes limo, wine tasting, and lunch. Wine purchases would be additional.
Accessibility: Wheelchairs and scooters can't be accommodated. Guests must be able to handle steps to get into limo and be able to maneuver once inside the vehicle.

PhotoEvent #2: Old Sacramento Mystery Tour

Explore Old Sacramento in a way you've never seen it. Hear the ghost stories and see the locations for the unexplained mysteries. This tour is customized for Left Coast Crime.
Price includes only the tour. Tour begins in Old Sacramento, one mile from the Sheraton Grand.

PhotoEvent #3: Old City Cemetery Tour

Established in 1849, the Sacramento Historic City Cemetery, a lush Victorian garden with dramatic markings, is an outdoor museum that has recorded history from the Gold Rush era, and is the oldest cemetery in Sacramento. Mayors, Governors, and civil war veterans rest here, and the docents have planned a special tour for Left Coast Crime. Come learn about the historical figures—ghostly and real.
Price includes only the tour of the cemetery. Cemetery is 1.5 miles from Hotel.

PhotoEvent #4: Suspects Mystery Dinner

$50 per person

In the 1920s, the Delta King, a 285-foot riverboat, traveled from the Sacramento River to San Francisco. The five-deck boat, anchored in Old Sacramento, hosts a hotel, restaurant, theater, and lounge. Enjoy a three-course meal while solving the murder of one of the dinner guests. Price includes dinner, tax, and gratuity. Beverages are extra. Riverboat is one mile from the hotel.
Accessibility: Theatre meets ADA accessibility guidelines.

There is no shuttle service to these tours. Taxis are plentiful and reasonable for those who do not wish to drive or walk. Sign-ups for carpooling will be available. All events are held rain or shine.
