I set a scene in my book in the Cafe Pasqual, which has, as I recall, the most tummy-warming brunches and lunches around, using sustainable food where possible.

Stephen,
We haven't had a lot of snow. If you go into the mountains, you'll run into it. Otherwise just wear comfy shoes -- maybe hiking boots. Do remember that Santa Fe is at 7000 feet, so you might get tired a bit more quickly than at lower altitudes.

Drink a lot of water.

Hey Pari,

Not on the subject of chocolate but...

Thinking of footwear that needs to be packed, is there still snow on the ground in Santa Fe? How about if we go hiking in the area?

See you soon!

Jodie,
It'll probably be in the high 50s low 60s in late March. I'd bring a good heavy sweater and some long sleeves. We'll know more in a couple of weeks and I'll be sure to post.

Also, please keep in mind that we're high desert here so there is usually about a 30 degree difference between the high and the low. If the weather is clear, the nights will be cold and gorgeous!

Pari, I don't see any information on where the conference is being held. Is it at the La Fonda or elsewhere?
